USU Basketball Hosting Big Blue Scholarship Luncheon Wednesday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's Big Blue Scholarship Fund will be hosting a Cache Valley Aggie Basketball Coaches Luncheon Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Noon at the Copper Mill Restaurant.
The luncheon will feature USU men's basketball coach Stew Morrill. The Copper Mill Restaurant is located at 55 North Main in downtown Logan. Cost for the luncheon is $13 for Big Blue Scholarship Fund members and $16 for non-members. Season tickets are also available for $95 for BBSF members and $120 for non-members. With the purchase of a season ticket, fans will receive 10 raffle tickets.
Following Wednesday's luncheon, the remaining five luncheons will be held on the following Tuesdays - Jan. 15, Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb. 12 and Feb. 26.

USU won its 10th game in a row and improved to 11-1 on the season with an 81-57 win at Texas State on Monday afternoon. The win also bolstered the Aggies to a 2-0 start in Western Athletic Conference action, sweeping a pair of road games against a pair of first-year WAC teams, beating UTSA, 71-67, on Saturday night.
The Aggies continue their busy stretch of four games in a week by returning home to host another league newcomer, Seattle, on Thursday, Jan. 3 and old conference foe, Idaho, on Saturday, Jan. 5. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. tip-offs at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
