Big Blue Scholarship Luncheons In Salt Lake City Monday And Logan Tuesday
Utah State's Big Blue Scholarship Fund will hold two Aggie Basketball Coaches Luncheons this week, first in Salt Lake City on Monday, Jan. 6 and in Logan on Tuesday, Jan. 7.  Both luncheons, featuring USU head coach Stew Morrill, will begin at Noon and end at 1 p.m.

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's Big Blue Scholarship Fund will hold two Aggie Basketball Coaches Luncheons this week, first in Salt Lake City on Monday, Jan. 6 and in Logan on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Both luncheons, featuring USU head coach Stew Morrill, will begin at Noon and end at 1 p.m.

Monday's Wasatch Front Luncheon in Salt Lake City will be held at the Hampton Inn Downtown (425 S 300 W). This is the second of three Wasatch Front Luncheons, with the final one behind held Monday, March 3.

Cost for the Wasatch Front Luncheons are $15 for Big Blue Scholarship Fund members and $18 for non-members.

Tuesday's Cache Valley Luncheon will be held at The Copper Mill Restaurant which is located at 55 North Main in downtown Logan.

Cost for the luncheon is $13 for Big Blue Scholarship Fund members and $16 for non-members.

The remaining three Cache Valley Luncheons will be held on Monday, Jan. 20, Thursday, Feb. 4 and Thursday, Feb. 20, and will all be held at the Copper Mill.

USU is 11-3 overall and 1-1 in Mountain West Conference action after earning their first-ever MW victory after Saturday night's 86-67 spearing of the Spartans of San José State, a fellow MW rookie and former Western Athletic Conference foe.

The Aggies play another former WAC foe in Nevada, on Saturday, Jan. 11 in a 6 p.m. (MT) at Reno, Nev. The Aggies-Wolf Pack match-up will not be televised, but digitally streamed through on USU's website, www.UtahStateAggies.com.

Utah State returns home to host Colorado State on Wednesday, Jan. 15 in a notable match-up. Morrill was head coach at CSU for seven seasons prior to coming to USU, while Colorado State head coach Larry Eustachy was USU head coach from 1994-98. It will be Morrill's second match-up against his former team, while it will be Eustachy's first time facing the Aggies for the first time from the opposition's bench.

 

 

USU men's basketball single-game, multi-game and season tickets are on sale. All other single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Jan. 6. Single-game tickets will cost $18 for non-priority and $20 for priority, as well as $25 for premium game against UNLV (Feb. 15).
