LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Athletics is inviting all fans to wear white to the USU men's basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 25 against nationally-ranked San Diego State. Tip-off for the "White Out" is set for 9 p.m. (MT) and will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
In addition to the "White Out," USU will be honoring the Aggie football team, and they will be signing autographs before the game from 8-8:45 p.m. The first 2,500 fans with a ticket to the men's basketball game will receive a commemorative poster celebrating the Aggies' Mountain Division and Poinsettia Bowl Championships.
January 24-26 is also National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And SneakersTM Awareness Weekend. USU head coach Stew Morrill and his staff will be wearing sneakers to show their support for Coaches vs. Cancer - a joint effort of the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches that empowers basketball coaches to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
All USU men's basketball single-game, multi-game and season tickets are on sale. Single-game tickets cost $18 for non-priority and $20 for priority, as well as $25 for premium game against UNLV (Feb. 15).
To order a package or for more Aggie men's basketball ticket information, fans can contact the USU Athletics Ticket Office over the phone by calling 1-888-USTATE-1 or 435-797-0305 during regular hours of operation. Fans can also buy their tickets in person at the USU Ticket Office inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum or online by clicking on the "Buy Tickets" tab at www.UtahStateAggies.com.
The NCAA has launched the NCAA 6th Fan contest, an exciting nationwide online competition that will determine which Division I school has the most school pride and supportive fans. Utah State fans can learn all the details at www.ncaa.com/6thfan, including how to win great fan prizes and how to help Utah State be awarded over $100,000 in general scholarship contributions.
