LOGAN, Utah - Santa Clara University announced Friday the hiring of James Ware as an assistant men's basketball coach. Ware had been an assistant coach at Utah State University since August, 2006.

"James has done a good job in his two years at Utah State," said USU head coach Stew Morrill. "The opportunity at Santa Clara is a promotion in terms of staff position and compensation. We wish James and his family nothing but the best and we will certainly miss them and their contributions to our program."
