USU Men’s Basketball to Appear on National Television 16 Times

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men’s basketball will be seen on national television 16 times during the 2016-17 season as announced by the Mountain West offices on Thursday. The games represent more than half of the Aggies’ contests in the upcoming season.

USU will be seen on the ESPN family of networks a total of seven times, including home games against New Mexico on Jan. 4 on either ESPNU or ESPN2 and Nevada on Feb. 1 on ESPN3. The Aggies round out the appearances on ESPN with road games at San Diego State on Jan. 14 on ESPN3, at New Mexico on Jan. 24 on either ESPNU or ESPN3, at Boise State on Feb. 4 on ESPN3, at Nevada on Feb. 18 on ESPN3 and at UNLV in the regular season finale on March 1 on ESPNU.

Tip times and specific outlets for Utah State's games that have yet to be set on a specific channel will be determined during the course of the regular season (generally a 21-day window).

Utah State can be seen on ROOT Sports four times during the year, including home games against Boise State on Dec. 28 and Air Force on Feb. 25. The Aggies will also be featured on ROOT in road contests at Air Force on New Year's Eve and at Wyoming on Jan. 11.

USU will also appear on the CBS Sports Network four times during the 2016-17 season, beginning with games at the Cancun Challenge, Nov. 22-23. The Aggies then have a pair of home games on CBSSN when USU hosts UNLV on Jan. 7 and San Diego State on Feb. 15.

Utah State rounds out its television appearances on Campus Insiders in its home game against Colorado State on Jan. 21.

Utah State will host an exhibition game against Southern Virginia on Nov. 4 before opening the seaosn at UC Irvine on Nov. 11. The Aggies will open at home on Nov. 14, facing NJIT as part of the Cancun Challenge.
