Utah State Men's Basketball To Have At Least Seven Games Televised On ESPN During The 2010-11 Season

LOGAN, Utah - The Western Athletic Conference announced its 2010-11 men's basketball ESPN television schedule Tuesday and Utah State will be one of its most featured teams as it will appear on the ESPN family of networks a minimum of seven times throughout the season.
Among its seven games on the ESPN family of networks, three will be on ESPN2 including one in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum when Utah State hosts Nevada on Wednesday, Feb. 2. USU will also have two road games on ESPN2 as it plays at Idaho and New Mexico State on Wednesday, Feb. 9 and Wednesday, Mar. 3, respectively. All games on ESPN2 will begin at 9 p.m. (MT).
Utah State will also have three of its games televised on ESPNU as it plays at Georgetown on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. (MT), at Nevada on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. (MT) and hosts New Mexico State on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 9 p.m. USU's other regular season appearance on ESPN will be a regional broadcast from Louisiana Tech on Saturday, Mar. 5 at 5 p.m. (MT).
All nine WAC schools will appear on ESPN during the 2010-11 season and a total of 22 WAC games will be broadcast. Additionally, games determined by ESPN's BracketBuster could increase the number of WAC games broadcast by ESPN.
In all, six regular season games will be shown on ESPN2, seven on ESPNU and five on ESPN Regional Television (ERT). In addition, the WAC Tournament championship game and one semifinal will also be shown on ESPN2, while ESPNU will broadcast both WAC Tournament quarterfinal games.
Utah State begins the 2010-11 season with an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct 30 against Universite Laval. USU will then conclude its preseason on Friday, Nov. 5 against Grand Canyon University followed by its season-opener at home against Weber State on Saturday, Nov. 13.
