Basketball Schedule On SportsWest and Fox Sports Released

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State announced today its games that will be televised on SportsWest and Fox Sports Net during the 2000-01 season. SportsWest, a production company of Salt Lake City's KSL-TV will broadcast two Aggies games this year, while Fox Sports Net will feature USU once during the season. Utah State won the Big West Conference last season with a school-best 28-6 record, including a perfect 19-0 mark in league play.

USU's first appearance on SportsWest television will be on Wednesday, Dec. 8 when the Aggies host Utah at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum at 7 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. The Utes advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year. The Aggies will also play at Brigham Young on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. (MST).

Along with the two games on SportsWest, Utah State will appear on Fox Sports Net once during the 2000-01 season at Long Beac State on Sat., Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. (MST).

Utah State will also play two games on ESPN this season, with a possible third appearance in the Big West Tournament Championship game on Mar. 10, 2001 in Anaheim, Calif. The Aggies host Long Beach State on Thur., Jan. 11 at 10 p.m., and then Cal Poly on Sat., Mar. 3 at 5 p.m.
