Utah State in the Music City for Two Games against Northeastern and New Hampshire

• Utah State will play a pair of neutral-site games in Nashville, Tenn., facing Northeastern (2-2) and New Hampshire (1-3) as part of the PK80 Tournament. The Aggies lost their first two games of the tournament at Gonzaga (79-66) and at Portland State (83-79).

• Utah State is 107-39 all-time in regular season tournaments, including an overall mark of 53-37 when not serving as the host institution.

• The games mark the third leg of a 13-day road trip for the Aggies that also included stops at Gonzaga (11/18) and Portland State (11/20), and continues at Valparaiso (11/28).

• Utah State is 1-2 all-time against Northeastern, and has never faced New Hampshire in program history. The Aggies last faced the Huskies of Northeastern during the 2010-11 season, a 56-54 victory at home in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. USU has faced NU on a neutral court, losing to the Huskies, 96-91, during the 1986-87 season at the Great Alaska Shootout.

Scouting Northeastern
Northeastern is 2-2 on the year with victories over Boston (65-59) and Wentworth (83-49), and loss at Stanford (73-59) and Ohio State (80-55).

The Huskies are averaging 65.5 points per game and shooting 40.4 percent (92-of-228) from the floor, 31.7 percent (33-of-104) from behind the 3-point line an 77.6 percent (45-of-58) at the free throw line. Individually, NU is paced by Donnell Gresham Jr., with 10.5 points per game, the only player on the roster averaging double-digit points. Bolden Brace leads Northeastern on the glass, averaging 5.3 rebounds per game.

Defensively, teams are averaging 65.3 points per game and shooting 43.9 percent (100-of-228) from the floor, 30.6 percent (19-of-62) from behind the 3-point line and 66.7 percent (42-of-63) at the free throw line. Vasa Pusica leads the team with six steals and Brace is tops on the team with four blocks.

Head coach Bill Coen is in his 12th year at the helm, guiding the Huskies to an overall mark of 180-178 over that span.

Scouting New Hampshire
New Hampshire is 1-3 on the year, with its lone victory coming against Wheelock College, a Division III school in Boston, Mass. UNH will open its slate in Nashville, facing Furman on Friday.

New Hampshire is averaging 72.0 points per game and shooting 40.2 percent (97-of-241) from the floor, 30.7 percent (31-of-101) from behind the 3-point line and 77.8 percent (63-of-81) at the free throw line. Individually, the Wildcats are led by Tanner Leissner with a team-best 19.3 points per game, followed by Iba Camara with 12.3 and Jacoby Armstrong with 10.0 points per game, respectively. Camara and Leissner are also first and second for UNH on the glass, averaging 9.3 and 8.3 rebounds per game, respectively.

Defensively, teams are averaging 65.3 points per game against the Wildcats, shooting 37.2 percent (83-of-223) from the floor, 27.8 percent (27-of-97) from behind the 3-point line and 67.3 percent (68-of-101) at the free throw line. Elijah Jordan leads UNH with six steals, and Leissner and Jordan Reed are tied for the team lead with two blocks.

Head coach Bill Herrion is in his 13th season at UNH, compiling an overall mark of 156-205 over that span.

Utah State trailed for nearly 17 minutes of the second half before rallying to beat Northeastern, 56-54, Saturday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in a non-conference men's basketball contest.
