Quickly: Has the ability to be one of the best receivers not only in the Big West Conference, but in the nation... Has great speed.

1999: Finished the year 22nd in the nation in receptions with 54 catches for an average of 6.0 per game (missed the final two games of the year with an injury)... That total ranked second in the Big West, while his 653 receiving yards were third in the league... Had four touchdowns and a long of 87 on the year (against BYU)... Had three 100-yard receiving games in the first four contests of the year, including a 195-yard effort against Brigham Young.

1999: Was third on the team in both receptions (22) and yards (344)... Was second on the team behind Robert Scott with four touchdown catches... Three times he caught four passes in a game and in fact those came in successive games against Idaho, Boise State and New Mexico State... Had 101 yards on his four catches against Boise State, including his season long reception of 51 yards... Started nine games, coming off the bench against Idaho and North Texas.

1997: Played in seven games, missing four due to an ankle injury... Caught six passes for a whopping 29.7 average, the best on the team... Had touchdown catches of 59 yards at North Texas and 37 yards vs. Idaho State. Had two grabs for 42 yards against BYU, including a 26-yard reception... Started against BYU.

1996 (RS): Redshirted his first year at USU... Named the offensive scout team Most Valuable Player.

High School: Was a two-time second-team all-state selection... Earned all-region honors as both a cornerback and wide receiver in 1995... Had 33 tackles and two interceptions defensively and caught 25 passes for 614 yards and seven touchdowns offensively... As a junior he established a school record for receptions (57), yards (1,024) and touchdowns (15)... Intercepted four passes as a junior en route to all-conference honors... Also competed in track and won the state 4A high jump at 6-6 and finished second in the 300 hurdles... Lettered in basketball as well.

Personal: Born August 22, 1977 in Chandler, Ariz... majoring in journalism... Main hobby is playing basketball.
