UTAH STATE: Is the fastest receiver on the team and can stretch the field vertically with his speed... Possesses good height and length, and is able to high-point a football... Is very elusive with the ball in his hands... Switching jersey to No. 7 after wearing No. 1 last season.

2016 (JR): Played in 10 games and finished the season with two receptions for 49 yards and one rush for 10 yards… His lone rush on the season was against Fresno State (10/22)… Had one reception for six yards at USC (9/10) and one reception for a season-long 43 yards against San Diego State (10/28).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned California Community College Athletics Association (CCCAA) Region IV First-Team All-America honors and was named a Southern California Football Association (SCFA) American Pacific League first-team selection following his sophomore season at Antelope Valley (Calif.) Junior College as he set school records in receiving touchdowns (12) and receiving yards (1,072), which ranked fifth in the state... Led the American Pacific Conference in receiving yards per game (107.2) and tied for the lead in touchdowns (12)… As a sophomore, he caught 56 passes for 1,072 yards (107.2 ypg/19.1 ypc) and 12 touchdowns in 10 games… He had career highs of 11 receptions and 190 yards, while tying his season high with two touchdown catches at Desert JC… Also returned two kickoffs for 86 yards, including a season long of 69 yards, as part of a career-high 276 all-purpose yards against Desert JC as he earned American Pacific Conference All-Purpose Player of the Week honors… During his sophomore season, he had seven 100-yard receiving games and two 200-yard all-purpose game… Overall, he had four games with two receiving touchdowns and six games with at least five receptions… Had a season-long reception of 55 yards against West Los Angeles JC… Was part of an offense that ranked second in the American Pacific Conference with 297.5 passing yards per game… Also returned 17 kickoffs as a sophomore for 284 yards (16.7 ypr)… As a freshman in 2013, he played in 10 games and recorded 23 receptions for 398 yards (39.8 ypg/17.3 ypc) and six receiving touchdowns, while also returning 14 kickoffs for 496 yards (35.4 ypr) and three touchdowns… Recorded a career-high three touchdowns against Glendale CC as a freshman with one receiving touchdown and two touchdown returns... During his two years at Antelope Valley JC he had 79 receptions for 1,470 yards (73.5 ypg/18.6 ypc) with 18 touchdowns, and returned 18 kickoffs for 780 yards (25.2 ypr) with three touchdowns.

HIGH SCHOOL: Had 11 catches for 434 yards (39.5 ypc) and three touchdowns as a prep senior at Spoto High School in Riverview, Fla., as he helped the Spartans advance to the playoffs for the first time in program history... As a senior, he had season highs of four catches for 192 yards (48.0 ypc) and three touchdowns against Sickles HS, while also returning an interception for a touchdown in the same game… Also had a season-long 76-yard catch against Palmetto HS… As a senior defensive back, he recorded 40 tackles, four interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a sack... Earned MVP honors in the Florida All-Star Game... Also played baseball in high school.

PERSONAL: One of three children of Wayne and Jacqueline Byers... His brother, Wayne, played college football at Bethune-Cookman... Majoring in sociology... Has a daughter, Anylah.
