Quickly: After three seasons as a backup at strong side linebacker, moving to other side of the ball and will be a backup at fullback... Originally signed with USU in the spring of 2001 before going on an LDS Church Mission. 2006 (Jr.): Played mainly on special teams, but also saw action as a linebacker... Had 11 tackles on the year... Was credited with a season-high three tackles against Nevada, and had two stops against Utah and Hawai'i... Was named Defensive Scout Team MVP, along with being named scout team player of the week three times during the season. 2005 (So.): Played in all 11 games on special teams... Was credited with five tackles... All five tackles came in the first three games of the season as he had three vs. UNLV and one each against Utah and Idaho... Had a fumble recovery against Nevada in the 10th game of the year. 2004 (Fr): Played as a reserve linebacker as well as on special teams in his true freshman year... Recorded a tackle in his first collegiate game at Alabama... Also had tackles at UNLV and against New Mexico State. High School: A first-team all-state selection by the Deseret Morning News in 2000... Named the Region 4 Most Valuable Lineman... Played defensive end and tight end in high school, recording 80 tackles and 15 sacks as a senior... A two-year starter... Finished second in the state in wrestling in 2000 and first as a senior... Also competed in track, where he placed in several events and set the state 300-meter hurdles record... Was a member of the high school honor roll. Personal: Born Jan. 10, 1983 in Brigham City, Utah... Son of Louis and Mary Elizabeth Anderson... Has three brothers and three sisters... Married to Kaleena Hendricks... Received scholarship offers in football, track and wrestling.... Graduated this past spring with a degree in political science and is currently in the MBA program... Hobbies include hunting, snowboarding and working with bees.
