Provides veteran leadership, experience and talent to USU defensive backfield. 2006 (Jr.): Became the first non-linebacker to lead the team in tackles since defensive end Rulon Jones in 1978... Recorded 74 tackles on the year... Returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown in the season opener at Wyoming, for USU's only score in the first four games... Broke up six passes, which was second on the team... Best tackle game was 13 at Louisiana Tech... Had at least four tackles in all 12 games... Made nine stops against Fresno State, eight at Nevada and seven at Wyoming... Started the final six games of the year... His 819 total plays on the year, including special teams, were by far the most on the team. 2005 (So.): Started the first three and last four games of the season... His 65 tackles were third on the team... Forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble and broke up two passes... Made a season best 10 tackles against Idaho... Had nine stops against Louisiana Tech... Made eight tackles against Utah, Nevada and New Mexico State... Did not play against San Jose State. 2004 (Fr.): Played in the first seven games before suffering a season-ending injury...
