Former Utah State Football Players Perform Well In Pro Day

In all, scouts from the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, along with the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League where in attendance Thursday.

The session, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in the USU weight room, is not open to the public but is open to media.


Utah State Football Celebrates 2012 Campaign With Team Banquet Friday

Along with handing out individual awards, a highlight video recapping the year was shown, as was a video honoring USU's senior class, which tied the 1962 senior class for the most wins in school history with 26.


Utah State's Will Davis Records Interception In 2013 Senior Bowl

Davis' interception came in the third quarter on a pass from Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel and he returned it 25 yards leading to a 42-yard field goal for the North.

HONORS: Honorable Mention All-WAC (2012); Academic All-WAC (2008, 2009, 2010, 2012).

2012 (SR): Started 10 games during his senior season and played in all 13... Earned honorable mention all-WAC honors as he finished the season with 38 receptions for 272 yards (20.9 ypg) and five touchdown catches, which ranked tied for first on the team... Overall, his five touchdown receptions ranked first in the WAC among tight ends, while his 38 receptions ranked second and his 272 receiving yards ranked third... Caught touchdown passes in four-straight games during the course of the season, which was the longest streak for a Utah State player since the 2005 season... Caught a career-high eight passes for 47 yards, including a 4-yard touchdown reception, against Utah... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2011 (RS): Received a medical redshirt after sustaining an injury in the preseason.

2010 (JR): Saw action in nine games, making seven starts and catching 15 passes for 222 yards (14.8 ypg)... Had five receptions for 121 yards on the road at Nevada, including a career-long 63-yard catch, for USU's only 100-yard receiving outing of season... Snared at least two catches in five-straight games, capped off with career-best five receptions in Nevada game, before suffering season-ending arm injury in New Mexico State game... Missed the last three games of season... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2009 (SO): Played in all 12 games, making three starts... Mostly saw action at blocking tight end, but did have nine catches for 81 yards (9.0 ypc) with a season-long 18-yarder at Fresno State, part of his season-high 28 yards on two catches... Added two receptions for 18 yards at Utah... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2008 (FR): Played in eight games, making one start... Had one catch for six yards, coming in the season finale against New Mexico State... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time Missouri Class 6A all-state selection on both offense and defense, also playing defensive line... Combined 40 receptions for 736 yards (18.4 ypc) with 10 touchdowns for his junior and senior seasons... Made 75 tackles including 10 sacks with two interceptions, one returned for a score, as well as two fumble recoveries... Helped lead Blue Springs South (Mo.) High School to 13-0 season and capturing the 6A state championship... Named a 2007 finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award... A two-time all-district, all-conference and all-area first-team selection... A rivals.com top-20 prospect for the state of Missouri... Also an all-conference and all-area honoree for baseball.

PERSONAL: Son of Jim and Stacy Bartlett... Has one brother and one sister... Graduated from Utah State University in the fall of 2012 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in business management and physical education.
