2012 (JR): Played in 12 games during his first season at Utah State... Finished the year with eight tackles (3-solo, 5-assists), including a season-high four against Idaho (11/24)... Also had two tackles at San Jose State (10/13)... Recovered a blocked punt in the end zone against Utah (9/7) for his first career touchdown.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: A two-year letterwinner at Snow College at safety during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, serving as a team captain during his sophomore campaign... Helped the Badgers to the Top of the Mountains Bowl title in 2011, finishing with a 10-3 record... Started all 13 games in 2011 and earned first-team all-league honors as he recorded 72 tackles to go along with five interceptions... Also returned a fumble 60 yards for a touchdown... Was on the Dean's List at Snow College.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner in baseball and football at Manti (Utah) High School and earned academic all-state accolades in both sports... Earned second-team all-state honors as a linebacker/safety during his senior season in 2006... Played third base and the outfield on the baseball team.
