2002 (Jr.): Earned the team's Golden Helmet award as the hardest hitter... Finished third on the team in receptions with 31 and receiving yards with 502... His four touchdown receptions were second on the team... Came on strong in the later half of the year... Had a total of nine receptions in the first seven games combined before catching 22 in the last four games combined... His 134 receiving yards on his career-best seven receptions against Troy State were the most by a tight end in USU history... Had consecutive 100-yard receiving games as he also had 105 yards on five catches against Middle Tennessee... His 31 receptions on the year were the most by an Aggie tight end since 1999.
