Utah State Has 112 Student-Athletes Receive Academic All-WAC Honors This Spring

Of its 57 academic all-WAC selections from its spring sports, Utah State had 23 student-athletes from women's outdoor track honored, along with 15 from men's outdoor track, six from softball, five from both men's tennis and women's tennis, and three from the men's golf team.

HONORS: Academic All-WAC (2012).

2014 (SR): Played in just three games due to injury... Made his first career start against UNLV (10/25), leading the Aggies to a 34-20 win... Had a career game against the Rebels as he was 13-of-23 passing for a career-high 221 yards with a career-best three touchdowns, including a career-long pass of 71 yards... Also rushed a career-high nine times for a career-best 39 yards... Was 5-of-12 passing for 28 yards against Colorado State (10/18), while carrying the ball one time for 15 yards... Played against Idaho State (9/6) as well, but did not record any stats.

2013 (JR): Played in nine games and made his first career start against Boise State (10/12)... Was 18-of-41 passing for 185 yards with one touchdown, all career-highs, against BYU (10/4)... Completed 4-of-4 passes for 71 yards, including his first career touchdown pass of 56 yards against Weber State (9/14)... Was also 4-of-9 passing for 55 yards against No. 24 Fresno State in the inaugural Mountain West Championship game... Finished the season completing 35-of-74 passes (.473) for 434 yards (48.2 ypg) with two touchdowns and one interception... Also carried the ball 16 times for 60 yards (3.8 ypc), including a career-long run of 22 yards versus Boise State... Had a career-high six rushes for a career-best 38 yards against BYU.

2012 (SO): Played in seven games and finished the season completing 8-of-9 passes for 63 yards... Also carried the ball three times for minus two yards... His best game of the season was at UTSA (10/27) as he was 5-of-6 passing for 54 yards, including a season-long pass of 37 yards... Was also 1-of-1 passing for 22 yards against UNLV (9/29), 1-of-1 passing for three yards against New Mexico State (10/20) and 1-of-1 passing for minus 16 yards against Idaho (11/24)... Had two carries for six yards, both season-highs, against Texas State (11/3)... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent two years at Snow College, redshirting his first season... As a redshirt freshman quarterback, he threw for 2,181 yards and 19 touchdowns as he was 155-of-288 (.538) passing helping the Badgers to the Top of the Mountains Bowl title in 2011.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was 165-of-235 (.702) passing for 1,105 yards and 15 touchdowns as a prep senior at Grantsville (Utah) High School in 2006 as he earned Utah Class 3A first-team all-state honors from both the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News... Also earned first-team all-state basketball honors from the Deseret News during his senior season.

PERSONAL: Son of Rick and Mary Ann Harrison... His father played quarterback at Southern Utah and Utah, while his grandfather, Larry Harrison, played football at BYU... Married to the former Lindsey Sullivan... Graduated from USU in the spring of 2014 with a degree in exercise science.
