Earned first-team Utah Class 4A all-state honors at East HS as a quarterback by both the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune, as well as first-team all-region... The dual-threat signal-caller rushed for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns while tossing for 1,113 yards with 13 scores and only two INT's as a senior, in helping the Leopards finish with an 8-3 overall record and a 4-2 record in Region 6, losing in the 4A quarterfinals... Was also named the Utah Blaze Ironman of the Year... Also a four-year letterwinner and starter for the EHS baseball team playing outfield and pitcher, earning second-team all-state honors by both the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune, helping the Leopards to the state semi-finals his senior season... Also a two-year letterwinner and one-year starter on the basketball team... Son of Kyle and Barbara Curtis... Has three brothers... Chose USU because of academic success and the football program.
