HONORS: San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl Offensive Most Valuable Player (2013); Honorable Mention All-Mountain West (2013); College Sports Madness Third-Team All-Mountain West (2013); Phil Steele Third-Team All-Mountain West (2013); College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention National Running Back of the Week (9/14/13; 10/19/13).

2013 (SR): Played in all 14 games with eight starts... Earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors after ranking fifth in the league and 31st in the nation with 13 rushing touchdowns, and sixth in the league and 45th in the nation with an average of 87.2 rushing yards per game... Was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player of the 2013 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl as he carried the ball 23 times for 143 yards and one touchdown, including setting the Poinsettia Bowl record with a 58-yard rush in the first quarter... Finished the season by rushing for 100 yards seven times, including in five of his final seven games, and those seven 100-yard rushing games rank tied for fourth all-time at USU for a single-season... Had a career-high 144 rushing yards on just 12 carries at New Mexico (10/19) and tied his career-high with three rushing touchdowns as he was named an honorable mention national running back of the week by College Football Performance Awards (CFPA)... Also earned CFPA honorable mention honors following his performance against Weber State (9/14) as he rushed for 105 yards on eight carries and scored three touchdowns... Ended his senior season with 1,221 rushing yards on 221 carries (5.5 ypc) to rank 12th all-time at USU for a single-season in rushing yards... Also scored 13 rushing touchdowns on the year, which ranks tied for ninth at USU in a single-season, while his 5.5 yards per carry average ranks tied for ninth in a single-season... Finished his career 16th all-time in school history with 1,378 rushing yards on 250 carries (5.5 ypc), and also ranks eighth all-time in Aggie history with his career 5.5 yards per carry average.

2012 (RS-JR): Played in seven games during the season, mostly on special teams... Recorded five tackles during the year, including a career-high three against Idaho (11/24).

2011 (RS): Redshirted during the season at Utah State.

2010 (SO): Played in 11 games, starting one... Carried the football 29 times for 157 yards (5.4 ypc) and one touchdown... Also caught two passes for 14 yards... Amassed season-highs in rushing attempts and yards against Boise State with nine carries for 46 yards... Scored lone touchdown of season in Idaho State game, finishing with season-best 38-yard outing.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned second-team all-National Division, Southern Conference offensive honors at Grossmont (Calif.) JC... Was named Grossmont's Offensive MVP after leading the Griffins and ranking seventh in the Southern California Football Association in rushing with 952 yards on 143 carries (5.8 ypc/91.7 ypg) with six touchdowns... Added 120 yards on 12 catches (10.0 ypc) with one score... Was also Grossmont's top all-purpose runner averaging 118.5 yards per game, while scoring 42 points... Was named Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Men's Athlete of the Week on Sept. 13, for his performance, which included his second-straight 100-plus yard outing, rushing for 179 yards and a 61-yard touchdown on 16 carries, as Grossmont routed College of the Desert, 61-14... Helped the Griffins to an 8-3 record, capping their season by defeating El Camino College, 27-22, in the US Bank Beach Bowl.

HIGH SCHOOL: At Mt. Carmel (Calif.) High School, rushed for 1,168 yards on 137 carries (8.53 ypc/116.8 ypg) with nine touchdowns as a senior as he earned first-team all-Palomar League honors and was named team's MVP... Added 18 receptions for 329 yards (18.3 ypc) with five scores and 12 kick returns for 426 yards (35.5 ypr) with a touchdown return of 99 yards and another of 96 yards, finishing the season with 16 total touchdowns and adding a pair of two-point conversions for 100 total points... As a junior, rushed for 832 yards on 127 carries (6.6 ypc/75.6 ypg) with six touchdowns, adding 19 catches for 171 yards (9.0 ypc) with one touchdown and five kick returns for 151 yards (30.2 ypr) and two scores... Was also a four-year letterwinner in track & field, running the 100m and 4x100m relay... Helped the Sundevils to a second-place conference finish and was team captain as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Joseph, Sr. and Kimberly DeMartino... Has one brother... Graduated from Utah State in the fall of 2013 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in business management and sociology of sport.
