UTAH STATE: A physical player who made great strides during spring practice... Has all the tools to develop into an outstanding offensive lineman.

2016 (FR): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) all-Foothill League first-team honors as both an offensive and defensive lineman as a prep senior at San Leandro (Calif.) High School as he recorded 31 pancake blocks on offense and notched 19 tackles (13-solo, 6-assist) on defense, to go along with two quarterback hurries... Helped San Leandro HS to a Foothill League Championship during his senior season after posting a 5-0 record as the Pirates averaged 209.5 rushing yards per game and scored 52 total touchdowns... Played in the Polynesian All-American Bowl... Also wrestled, played baseball and was a member of the track & field team in high school.

PERSONAL: Son of Mila and Ituala Ali’ifua... Has three brothers and two sisters... Brother, Ricky, is a senior defensive end on Utah State’s football team... Undeclared on a college major... Name is pronounced Duh-me-trick Ah-lee-ee-foo-uh.
