Quickly: Returns to the team after sitting out the final nine games last season due to a blood clot in his shoulder... Will not get that season back and will be a senior this year... Should be a team leader... Expected to start at cornerback and is a dangerous return man as well.

2003 (Jr.): Voted a team captain... Played in the first three games of the year before doctors found a blood clot in his shoulder which kept him out of action for the rest of the season... In the first three games he recorded 12 tackles, forced one fumble and recovered another... Started each of those contests... Returned 11 kickoffs for a 23.0 average including a long of 43 yards.

2002 (So.): Earned the team's most inspirational player award... Was also selected as a team captain... Made his mark as a kickoff return specialist and ranked seventh in the nation with a 27.7 average... That average was the second best in school history behind only a 30.2 mark by Overton Curtis in 1957... Had a stretch of three straight games with a return of at least 60 yards as he posted a 63-yard return vs. Boise State, 68 vs. New Mexico, and 62 vs. UL-Monroe... In the BYU game before that stretch he had a 75-yard interception return for a touchdown... Played as a cornerback as well and recorded 24 tackles... Was credited with 1.5 tackles for loss.

2001 (Fr.): Saw action in the secondary and on special teams... Recorded 11 tackles on the year... Recovered one fumble... Best game was his three-tackle performance against BYU... Had one defensive tackle in seven other games... Started in the game at BYU.

2000 (RS): Redshirted his first year at Utah State.

High School: An all-CIF selection on defense as a senior... Earned team offensive MVP honors all three years of high school... Had five interceptions as a senior... Also started four games at tailback and rushed for more than 1,000 yards on the season in his final year... Was the team captain and team MVP on the basketball team.

Personal: Born Dec. 6, 1981 in Los Angeles, Calif... Grew up in Palmdale, Calif... Wants to major in business entertainment and minor in computer science... Would like to work as a producer in the entertainment field after graduation... Hobbies include playing basketball, writing poetry, writing songs and spending time with family and friends... Mother is Jean Lewis... Has four sisters and two brothers... Was the publisher of the school paper in high school... Received several poetry awards as well.
