Quickly: Last name is pronounced Dee-Quill-etts... Was moved to the offensive line this spring after playing on the defensive line the past three years... Started 10 games on the defensive line the last three years... Impressed coaches enough to have a chance to start at one of the guard spots. 2004 (Jr.): Started four games on the season, including the first two contests of the year... Also started against Middle Tennessee and UL-Monroe late in the year... Recorded 17 tackles on the year... Had a season high five stops against Idaho... Made at least one tackle in nine of 11 games. 2003 (So.): Played in all 12 games and started five straight games towards the end of the season until senior day... Posted 15 tackles on the year... Best game statistically was a four-stop effort against Arkansas State... Added three tackles against Troy State. 2002 (Fr.): Started one game on the year, making his first start at Nebraska in his second game as a collegian... Did not record any tackles in that game... Had three tackles against Boise State and two stops against Iowa... Finished the year with 10 tackles... Recovered a fumble against Boise State and broke up one pass. 2001 (RS): Redshirted his first year at USU. 2000: Sat out the year after signing with USU in the spring. High School: Was a first-team all-league and first-team all-area selection as a senior offensive lineman in 1999... Played mainly on the offensive line in his career... Was a three-year starter, earning second-team all-league and honorable mention all-area honors as a junior... Was named his team's lineman of the year as a junior and as a senior... Was his high school's athlete of the year as a sophomore and as a junior... Was the first freshman to start on the junior varsity in five years... Also wrestled and competed in track and field.
