Scored a touchdown on a blocked punt against North Texas... Was an academic all-Big West and second-team academic all-district selection.

1999: Started 10 games in 1998, as he did not start the Idaho game due to a shoulder injury... Still played against Idaho and had five tackles... Recorded a season-high 13 tackles against Boise State and had 11 stops at Colorado... Finished the year with 72 tackles to rank fifth on the team...
