Ranked in the top six in the Big West Conference in eight different categories... Rushed for 1,322 yards, the sixth-best season total in school history... Broke a school record by 30 yards with a 322-yard rushing performance against New Mexico State. 1999 (So.): Saw action at both running back and wide receiver during the year... Earned first-team all-Big West honors as a return man as he ranked 10th in the NCAA in punt returns (15.0 average) and 26th in kickoff returns (23.9)... He led the Big West in punt returns and was fourth in kickoff returns... He rushed nine times on the year for 53 yards and a 5.9 average... He caught three passes for 44 yards and a 14.7 average... Against Stephen F. Austin he carried four times for 36 yards. 1998 (Fr.): One of very few true freshmen to see action for the Aggies in 1998... Had 55 yards on 16 carries while playing behind Demario Brown and John Roberts... Did not play his first three games and then had 25 yards on seven carries against Sam Houston State... Two weeks later had 30 yards on nine rushes at Washington. High School: Rushed for 1,986 yards as a senior and 3,262 yards in his career... Was an all-state selection as a senior, while also earning all-region and all-area honors... Earned honorable mention All-America honors as well... Was named the Class 3A Most Valuable Player... Team finished second in the state his senior year... Was an all-area and all-state pick as a junior... In track he was a regional champion in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles and the 4x100 relay...
