2010 (Jr.): Played in and started all 12 games at linebacker, finishing second on the team in total tackles with 91 (32 solo, 59 assists)... Recorded four tackles for loss as well as three pass break-ups... Posted double-digit totals in tackles in four different games, matching a season-high 11 tackles in games against Oklahoma, Louisiana Tech and Idaho... Nominated for WAC Defensive Player of the Week for his 11-tackle performance in season-opening game at Oklahoma.
2009 (So.): Played in all 12 games, starting five... Logged 53 tackles (38 solo and 15 assists), ranking second among linebackers and tied for fourth overall... Posted 3.5 tackles for loss including 1.5 sacks... Added two forced fumbles and one QB hurry... Logged season-high eight stops in Nevada game while posting seven tackles in Louisiana Tech contest, including all of his 1.5 sacks... Added six tackles in both Hawai'i and Idaho games.
2008 (RS): Redshirted the season.
2007 (Fr.): Played in all 12 games, one of five true freshmen to do so... Made three starts... Registered 47 tackles (28 solo, 19 assists), ranking sixth overall and fourth among linebackers on team... Logged 1.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles... Posted eight or more tackles in four-straight games, including three with double-digit stops, highlighted by a season-high 11 tackles against Boise State... Also had 10 stops in both the Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State games... Forced fumbles in back-to-back games against Louisiana Tech and at Fresno State.
High School: Earned league defensive MVP honors after his senior year as he recorded 107 tackles and seven sacks in 10 games... Also had two interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown... Also ran for nine touchdowns as a fullback and blocked two punts, including one for a touchdown... As a junior, had 80 tackles and two interceptions... Caught two touchdown passes as a tight end and blocked one punt... Kicked a 55-yard field goal as a junior... Was also a four-year letterwinner in baseball, earning all-league honors... Had a .450 batting average with 23 stolen bases his senior season, in helping team to section championship.
