HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-state honors from the Salt Lake Tribune and second-team all-state honors from the Deseret News at defensive line as a prep senior at Fremont (Utah) High School... Helped Fremont HS to back-to-back 5A state championship game appearances... Also earned first-team all-area and first-team all-region honors during his senior season as he had 98 tackles and 7.5 sacks to go along with eight batted passes and one interception returned 24 yards for a touchdown... Was also an honor student at Fremont HS.
