Quickly: Tabbed as the starter at right tackle entering the fall after starting at that spot in all 12 games last season... Walked on in the fall of 2001 before going on an LDS Church Mission. 2007 (Jr.): Started all 12 games at right tackle, one of eight USU players to do so... His 759 offensive plays tied with offensive guard Shawn Murphy and center Ryan Tonnemacher for most on the offense... His 808 total plays, including special teams were tied with Murphy for most on team. 2006 (So.): Saw limited playing time as a backup on the line. 2005 (Fr.): Played in five of the first six games of the season before missing the rest of the year with an injury... Started four of those games, including Utah, UNLV, Idaho and Boise State at right tackle. High School: Played defensive line and was an all-state selection in 2000... Played just two years of high school football... Played in the all-state game after his senior year... Also played three seasons of high school basketball. Personal: Born June 28, 1983 in Hickory, N.C... Son of Jerry and Holly Hoke... Has three brothers and one sister... Main hobbies are playing basketball and spending time with family... Served an LDS Church Mission to South Carolina... Graduated in December, 2007 with degree in sociology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in family and human development.
