Quickly: Named to several preseason teams... Enters fall slated as the starter at middle linebacker... Returned to lineup last season after missing majority of 2006 with a foot injury... Talented linebacker with big expectations for senior season. 2007 (Jr.): Earned second-team all-Western Athletic Conference accolades... Also earned second-team all-WAC honors by scout.com and honorable mention all-WAC accolades by Phil Steele... Started all 12 games, one of three defensive starters and eight Aggies to do so... Led USU and ranked eighth in the WAC as well as tied for 71st in NCAA with 102 tackles, including 58 solo stops, which ranked tied for fifth in the league... His solo tackles were the most for an Aggie since Jesse Busta had 64 in 2002... Had USU season-best 16 stops in each of the last two games of the season at New Mexico State and Idaho with 10 solo stops in each game... Snared first career interception at Utah... Posted 4.5 tackles for loss with one sack... Also tallied one pass break-up and one forced fumble... Logged sack in UNLV game... Pass break-up came at New Mexico State while his forced fumble was against Nevada... Posted double-digit tackles in four games. 2006 (So.): Started the first four games before suffering a season-ending foot injury against BYU... Was the team's leading tackler through three games with 27 stops... Had 10 against Utah, nine at Wyoming and eight at Arkansas... Added two stops against BYU before getting hurt... Forced fumbles against Wyoming and Arkansas. 2005 (Fr.): Earned third-team Freshman All-America honors from The Sporting News... Was the third-leading freshman tackler in the NCAA at 7.9 per game... Became the first freshman in school history to lead USU in tackles as he recorded 87 stops... Started all 11 games... Had 7.5 tackles for loss, forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble... Forced fumbles were against Utah and Idaho, while he recovered a ball against New Mexico State... In first collegiate game he had six tackles and a forced fumble against Utah... Best tackle games were at New Mexico State (12) and at Idaho (10)... Made nine stops in three straight games (San Jose State, Fresno State and Boise State)... Had eight tackles against UNLV and Alabama. High School: Was an all-state selection and Defensive Player of the Year as a linebacker... Had 121 tackles, three sacks and one interception as a senior... Team was the state runner-up... Also competed in track. Personal: Born March 7, 1986 in Port Angeles, Wash...
