2011 (SO): Saw action in all 13 games, while starting in two contests... Graded out at 81 percent for the year... Stepped in and started against Weber State (9/10) due to injury and only had one missed assignment in 65 plays, while tallying five knockdowns... A versatile player who saw action at both guard and center... Played a total of 88 plays in 2011, while only having one missed assignment the entire season... Finished the year with 20 knockdowns... HIGH SCHOOL: Named Deseret News 3A MVP and earned first-team all-state honors, anchoring both offensive and defensive lines as center and nose guard in leading Juan Diego (Utah) High School to the 3A state championship with an unblemished 14-0 record... Also earned all-region accolades... Posted 91 tackles with 11 sacks, along with two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery on defense as a senior after logging 32 tackles with six sacks his junior season... Also an all-state and all-region heavyweight wrestler, finishing third at state after being a region champion... Was also state champion in both the discus and shot put... Earned academic all-state accolades.
