UTAH STATE: Will be looked upon to make an impact on special teams during his first year in the program.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned second-team all-Foothill Conference honors at College of the Desert (Palm Desert, Calif.) as a freshman in 2007 after posting 40 tackles (27 solo, 13 assists) with six tackles for loss and three sacks, while adding one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery... Posted 47 tackles (22 solo, 25 assists) with six tackles for loss and two sacks, while adding two pass break-ups in 2008.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time all-De Anza League honoree at Twentynine Palms (Calif.) High School... Also named De Anza League Defensive MVP as well as first-team all-CIF accolades... Posted 118 tackles to rank third in the league... Added six sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one blocked field goal... Also played fullback, gaining 126 yards on 26 carries (5.0 ypc) with three touchdowns, while adding 10 receptions for 85 yards (8.5 ypc) with one touchdown in senior season... Finished career with 348 tackles, nine sacks and two interceptions... Also earned all-league honors in track & field, competing in shot put and discus.
PERSONAL: Born July 29, 1989... Son of Lincoln and Voilalo Luke... Has three sisters and one brother... Served LDS Church Mission in Uruguay from 2009-11... Majoring in psychology with a minor in Spanish.
