JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) all-Central Conference second-team honors in the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) as a defensive end as he recorded 37 total tackles (23-solo, 14-assist) as a sophomore at Riverside City College... Also led the team with 7.5 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss, to go along with two fumble recoveries... Helped Riverside CC to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the SCFA Championship game... Posted at least four tackles in six games during the season and had a tackle for loss in nine games... Recorded 12 tackles (7-solo, 5-assist) during his freshman season at Riverside CC as he had 3.0 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks to go along with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and all-Sunkist League honors as both an offensive and defensive lineman during his junior and senior seasons at Colton (Calif.) High School... Recorded 60 total tackles (37-solo, 23-assist) and 14.5 sacks as a prep senior... Had 53 total tackles (34-solo, 19-assist) and 9.0 sacks during his junior season, and 27 total tackles (17-solo, 10-assist) and 3.0 sacks as a sophomore... Recorded six fumble recoveries and two blocked kicks during his prep career, to go along with one touchdown and one forced safety... Helped his team to a CIF championship in 2010.
