Quickly: Talented defensive player... Saw some action at linebacker during spring before moving back to defensive end, but could line up at linebacker, depending on situation.

2009 (Jr.): Played in all 12 games, staring USU debut at Utah... Posted 20 tackles (seven assists, 13 solo)... Added 3.5 tackles for loss, ranking tied for second on team... Also added one blocked kick and a pass break-up... Top three outings were all on road, logging career-high four tackles at New Mexico State, while posting three stops each at Texas A&M and Idaho... Added to road performances by blocking field goal at Hawai'i.

Junior College:Was a two-year letterwinner and a two-time all-Western States Conference honoree after earning first-team honors as a sophomore... Collected all-WSC honorable mention accolades as a freshman... In 2007, recorded 64 tackles, five tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks in helping Citrus to the Orange County Bowl, finishing with a 6-5 record... In freshman season of 2006, logged 22 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three and half sacks... Was named Western States Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17, 2006 after recording four tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack... Ranks fifth on Citrus' single-season solo tackles list with 32 in 2007 and is tied for fourth on the career list with 46 during his two years with the Fighting Owls.

High School Was a two-time first-team all-Baseline League selection as a junior and senior at Rancho Cucamonga HS, where he was a Rivals Top 100 recruit, being ranked as the 11th-best defensive end in the country and the 48th-best player in California... Helped RCHS to a 6-5 record both as a junior and senior... Posted 79 tackles with 11 sacks and one fumble recovery as a senior, while registering 77 stops with eight sacks along with two fumble recoveries as a junior... Also saw limited action at running back, tallying five rushes for 21 yards along with seven carries for 64 yards with one TD as a senior after posting three carries for 16 yards along with one catch for six yards during junior season.Personal:Born March 15, 1988 in Long Beach, Calif...
