Fourth-year head coach Matt Wells welcomes back 12 starters (O-9, D-3) and 38 letterwinners (O-20, D-15, S-3) from last year's team that finished tied for second in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West with a 5-3 record, and played in its school-record fifth-straight bowl game.

CAREER RECORDS: Has rushed for 1,018 yards on 259 carries (3.9 ypc) to rank 30th all-time in school history in career rushing yards.

SINGLE-SEASON RECORDS: Rushed for 540 yards in 2014, which ranks as the third-most by a freshman in school history... Had a season-high 145 rushing yards on 34 carries at Hawai’i (11/1/14), as those 34 carries are the most ever by an Aggie freshman, while his 145 rushing yards are the most by a USU freshman since 1992.

UTAH STATE: An athletic running back who can also catch the ball out of the backfield... Has a good understanding of the offense and is a good pass protector... Has good vision and is very dependable.

2016 (JR): Played in 11 games, making one start… Finished the season with 140 rushing yards on 42 carries (3.3 ypc) and one touchdown, while adding six receptions for 51 yards and four kickoff returns for 69 yards… Had a season-high 51 all-purpose yards against New Mexico (11/12) as he carried the ball three times for 21 yards and caught two passes for 30 yards… Had a season-high 10 carries for 20 yards against Arkansas State (9/16)… Had eight carries for 27 yards at Nevada (11/19) and two carries for 12 yards against Weber State (9/1), which included a nine-yard touchdown run… Also returned one kickoff for 29 yards against the Wildcats… Had one reception for 16 yards at Colorado State (10/8) and returned a career-high-tying two kickoffs for 31 yards against San Diego State (10/28).

2015 (SO): Played in all 13 games, making seven starts... Finished the season rushing for 338 yards on 106 carries (3.2 ypc) with five touchdowns... Ranked second on the team in both attempts and rushing touchdowns, and was third in rushing yards... Also caught 27 passes for 231 yards (8.6 ypr) with one touchdown, as he ranked tied for second on the team in receptions and third in receiving yards... Added four kickoff returns for 82 yards (20.5 ypr)... Rushed for a season-high 80 yards on a season-best 23 carries in the season-opener against Southern Utah (9/3)... Had 13 carries for 37 yards against Colorado State (10/3), including a 33-yard touchdown run... Carried the ball 12 times for 41 yards at Fresno State (10/10), which included a career-high two touchdown runs of 15 and 3 yards... Had eight carries for 50 yards against BYU (11/28), including a 6-yard touchdown, and scored on a 4-yard touchdown run against No. 21 Boise State (10/16)... Caught at least one pass in 12 of the 13 games he played in, including a career-high four receptions for 14 yards at Fresno State... Had two receptions for 51 yards against Boise State and two receptions for a career-high 67 yards at New Mexico (11/7), which included a career-long 63-yard catch... Tied his career high with two kickoff returns for a career-best 55 yards against Akron (12/22) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, which included a career-long return of 33 yards.

2014 (FR): Played in all 14 games during the season, making four starts... Finished the year leading the team in rushing with 540 yards on 111 carries (4.9 ypc), which ranked second on the team... Those 540 rushing yards are the third-most by a freshman in school history.... Only rushing touchdown of the season came on a 1-yard run against New Mexico (11/15) as he had eight carries for 55 yards against the Lobos... Also caught 10 passes for 99 yards (9.9 ypc) on the season, including a 44-yard touchdown reception at Hawai’i (11/1)... Best game of the year was against the Rainbow Warriors as he rushed a career-high 34 times for a career-best 145 yards, to go along with two receptions for 44 yards and one touchdown... Those 34 carries are the most by an Aggie freshman in school history, while his 145 rushing yards are the most by an Aggie freshman since 1992... Had 11 carries for 48 yards at Arkansas State (9/20) and 11 carries for 65 yards at Wyoming (11/7)... Also had a season-high three receptions against the Red Wolves... Had a career-long 55-yard run on the first offensive play from scrimmage at Boise State (11/29)... Returned two kickoffs during the season, both against UNLV (10/25) for 41 yards, including a long of 24 yards.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Florida Class 4A second-team all-state honors at running back as a prep senior at University High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as he rushed for 377 yards on 49 carries (7.2 ypc) with nine touchdowns, to go along with 19 receptions for 338 yards (17.8 ypr) and four touchdowns... Rushed for 807 yards on 102 carries (7.9 ypc) with 14 touchdowns and caught 11 passes for 32 yards (2.9 ypr) during his junior season as he helped the Suns to the Class 3A title... Rushed for 398 yards on 64 carries (6.2 ypc) with eight touchdowns as a sophomore, while adding eight receptions for 52 yards (6.5 ypr)... Carried the ball 36 times for 230 yards (6.4 ypc) with two touchdowns and caught two passes for nine yards (4.5 ypr) as a freshman... Was a four-year honor roll student.

PERSONAL: One of six children of LaJuan Hunt, Sr. and Kiki McLeod... Majoring in sociology.
