In all, scouts from the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, along with the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League where in attendance Thursday.

The session, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in the USU weight room, is not open to the public but is open to media.


Utah State Football Celebrates 2012 Campaign With Team Banquet Friday

Along with handing out individual awards, a highlight video recapping the year was shown, as was a video honoring USU's senior class, which tied the 1962 senior class for the most wins in school history with 26.


Utah State's Will Davis Records Interception In 2013 Senior Bowl

Davis' interception came in the third quarter on a pass from Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel and he returned it 25 yards leading to a 42-yard field goal for the North.

HONORS:First-Team All-WAC (2012).

2012 (SR): Started all 13 games during his senior season... Earned first-team all-WAC honors in 2012 as he led all USU defensive linemen and finished the year ranking 10th on the team with 35 tackles, to along with 4.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, four quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one pass breakup... Is the first Aggie defensive lineman to earn first-team all-conference honors since 2005... Recorded a season-high five tackles in three separate games during the year against Utah, BYU and New Mexico State.

2011 (JR): Started all 13 games, recording 31 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack for an 11 yard loss... Also forced a fumble against Colorado State... Top game was Weber State contest with six stops including lone sack of the season, while adding five tackles against Nevada.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned first-team all-conference honors at Snow College, helping Badgers to a 10-2 record, along with their second-straight Top of The Mountains Bowl championship and a No. 7 national ranking... Posted 53 tackles with eight for loss, along with two sacks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Utah Class 4A second-team all-state honors by both the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune at Granger (Utah) High School, as well as first-team all-Region 6 accolades... A four-year letterwinner.

PERSONAL: Full name is Avalisi Lapuaho... Son of Rob and Mele Lapuaho... Has eight brothers and two sisters... Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2013 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in psychology and physical education... Last name is pronounced Lah-poo-ah-ho.
