Quickly: Should be a factor in the secondary again this season. 2004 (So.): Shared team's top sophomore honor with Tony Pennyman... Started nine games at strong safety...Finished the year with 49 tackles to rank fifth on the team... Had three tackles for loss, including two sacks... Broke up four passes to rank second on the team... Also forced two fumbles, both against Middle Tennessee... Twice had eight tackles in a game against Idaho and Arkansas State... Made seven stops against Troy and Middle Tennessee... Had six tackles against UL Monroe and New Mexico State. 2003 (Fr.): Was USU's nickle back and saw a lot of time in the Aggie secondary... Recorded 22 tackles... Had two sacks from his safety position as well... Returned an interception 24 yards against Arkansas State... Broke up three passes on the year and also forced a fumble... Had six tackles against UL-Monroe and five against Wyoming. 2002 (RS): Redshirted his first year at Utah State... Named the defensive scout team MVP. High School: An all-league selection as a senior... In 13 games he had only 13 balls thrown his way, resulting in six incompletions and four interceptions... In addition to the four picks, he had 86 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and four sacks... Missed his junior season with a knee injury... Was a second-team all-league selection in baseball and also lettered in basketball. Personal: Born June 22, 1984 in Pasadena, Calif... Son of Joe and Rhonda Taylor... Has two brothers and two sisters... Would like to major in forestry at USU... Likes to play basketball and work out.
