2003 (Jr.): Played in the secondary as well as on special teams... Was credited with six tackles on the year... Had one pass broken up... Five of his six tackles came in consecutive games as he had two against Arkansas State and three vs. Middle Tennessee.

2002 (So.): Played in every game on the season and made his first career start against Brigham Young in place of an injured Jamar Glasper... Recorded 30 tackles on the season, including one for loss... Three times he made six tackles in a game (Utah, Iowa and Brigham Young).

2001 (Fr.): Saw enough time to letter... Played mainly on special teams during the year... Recorded five tackles on the season.

High School: Played four years of football... Was a first-team all-state selection as a free safety as a senior... Earned conference defensive player of the year honors as a senior... Was named a first-team all-conference selection as both a junior and a senior... Also played baseball and competed in track.

Personal: Born March 23, 1983 in Phoenix, Ariz... Son of Ray and Gail Luna... Has a brother... Father played football at Fresno State... Undecided on his major... Hobbies include golf and snowboarding.
