2013 (SR): Played in all 14 games and finished the season with 94 carries for 415 yards (4.4 ypc), to rank second on the team in both categories... Had a career-high 19 carries for a career-best 69 yards, to go along with one reception for 14 yards, against Boise State (10/12)... Had 14 carries for 61 yards at New Mexico (10/19) and 13 carries for 49 yards at Air Force (9/7)... Also had 10 carries for 46 yards against Wyoming (11/30) and 10 carries for 37 yards at San Jose State (9/27)... Carried the ball nine times for 57 yards against Weber State (9/14), and scored his lone touchdown of the season on a 2-yard run... Also had his career-long rush of 35 yards against the Wildcats... Also had four receptions for 46 yards on the year, including a career-long reception of 30 yards against BYU (10/4).
2012 (JR): Played in the first seven games of the season, including starting at BYU (10/5) before suffering a season-ending injury at San Jose State (10/13)... Carried the ball 17 times for 74 yards (4.4 ypc) with a career-long run of 16 yards against Southern Utah (8/30) in the season opener... Had season-highs with nine carries for 53 yards against the Thunderbirds... Also caught four passes for 34 yards (8.5 ypr) with a career-high tying long reception of 12 yards versus San Jose State (10/13).
2011 (SO): Played in all 13 games and started two... Rushed 13 times for 61 yards and one touchdown, while averaging 4.7 yards per carry... Top game was against Wyoming (10/8), running the ball nine times for 45 yards and lone touchdown of the season.
2010 (FR): Saw action in nine games, making lone start against San Diego State (9/25)... Carried the ball 33 times for 146 yards and one touchdown... Also caught three passes for 27 yards... Posted a season-high 12 carries for season-best 54 yards at San Jose State (11/13).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Texas all-District 4A-11 honors after leading the Falcons and the district in rushing with 1,183 yards on 157 carries (7.5 ypc) with seven touchdowns... Also had a pair of two-point conversions in nine games during senior season... Added two receptions for 60 yards... Had top outing of 252 yards on 18 carries (14.0 ypc) with one touchdown in 50-6 win against North Dallas HS... Was also kick returner... An Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year nominee... As a junior, rushed for 131 yards on 42 carries (3.1 ypc) with two touchdowns along with 15 catches for 98 yards (6.5 ypc) with two touchdowns... Won the running backs MVP award at the Ohio State Advance Camp.
PERSONAL: Son of David and Heather Marshall... Has one brother and two sisters... Father played tight end and defensive end at West Virginia State... Brother, D.J., played defensive end at Kansas, who overcame hodgkin lymphoma during his freshman season in 2009... Cousins, Jordan Lewis and Damarr Roughley, (strong safety) play at College of Desert (Calif.)... Cousin, Ortege Jenkins, played quarterback at Arizona from 1997-2000... Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2014 with an interdisciplinary studies degree in physical education, health and wellness..
