Lions of the Canadian Football League where in attendance Thursday.

Along with handing out individual awards, a highlight video recapping the year was shown, as was a video honoring USU's senior class, which tied the 1962 senior class for the most wins in school history with 26.

HONORS: Second-Team All-WAC (2012); Academic All-WAC (2011, 2012); Athlon Magazine Preseason Second-Team (2012); Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook Preseason WAC Newcomer of the Year (2010).

2012 (SR):Started 11 games during his senior season and played in all 13... Earned second-team all-WAC honors as he finished the season leading the team in receptions (48) and receiving yards (729), and tying for first with five receiving touchdowns, while his 56.1 receiving yards per game average ranked ninth in the WAC... Had two 100-yard receiving games during the year with 124 yards on four catches against Texas State, and 119 yards on five catches against Southern Utah, and is the first Aggie with two 100-yard receiving games in the same season since 2006.

2011 (RS-JR): Played in all 13 games, starting eight... Had a streak of at least one catch in a game snapped at 13 games after not catching a pass in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl versus Ohio... Led the team with 34 catches for a team-leading 465 yards... Also led team in receiving touchdowns with six... Fourth on the team in scoring with 36 points... Had five touchdowns in last six games, including two game-winners... Caught two touchdowns passes, including the game-winner with 35 seconds left, in USU's regular-season finale at New Mexico State... Also snared game-winning score in San Jose State victory with 47 seconds on the clock... Caught a career-high six passes in the season-opener at Auburn... Had a season-long 49-yard catch in a win against Weber State... Scored touchdowns in back-to-back games against Hawai`i and San Jose State.

2010 (JR): Started the season-opener at Oklahoma and made one catch for 59 yards, but suffered season-ending knee injury.

2009 (RS): Redshirted his first year at USU.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: A first-team Southern California Football Association all-Central Conference selection at Mt. San Antonio, helping the Mounties to a 9-1 record... Earned first-team all-California Community College Football Coaches Association honors for Region III... Tallied 71 receptions for 1,134 yards with 13 touchdowns as a sophomore in leading Mt. SAC to state runner-up finish... Was Mt. SAC team captain... Named second-team all-Mission Conference as a freshman in 2007 after leading the Mounties with 65 receptions for 985 yards and nine touchdowns.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-conference accolades in football, basketball and track & field at Charter Oak (Calif.) High School.

PERSONAL: Son of Melissa Austin and Phillip Austin... Has one brother and one sister... Has a son, Mehki Zae Austin... Graduated from Utah State University in the spring of 2011 with a degree in sociology and has taken courses toward a second bachelor's degree in sociology.
