HIGH SCHOOL: Earned California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) all-Silicon Valley De Anza Division first-team honors in 2012 at running back as a prep senior at Palo Alto (Calif.) High School as he rushed for 1,161 yards on 152 carries (7.6 ypc) and scored 13 touchdowns, while catching 19 passes for 264 yards (13.9 ypr) with four touchdowns... Recorded 64 total tackles (16-solo, 48-assist) to go along with three interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during his junior season... Helped the Vikings advance to the Central Coast Section (CCS) Championship game during his junior year and to the regional championship game as a senior... Earned all-Silicon Valley honors in the 100m as well as he ran a 10.9 at the CCS Championships.
PERSONAL: One of three children of Kevin and Meg Tolbert... His father played football at the Naval Academy and is an assistant strength coach for the San Francisco 49ers... Undeclared on a college major.
