Quickly: A candidate for several awards, including Rimington Trophy Watch List, award honoring top center in college football... Enters fall slated as starting center, but can also play any of the offensive line positions... Gives offensive line veteran experience and leadership.

2008 (Jr.): Earned second-team all-WAC honors... Played in all 12 games, starting at right guard in the first seven games before shifting to center during the Fresno State game, then starting the next three games at center... Led offensive linemen in total plays.

2007 (So.): Saw action in all 12 games, drawing one start at right guard at Hawai'i... Was in 241 offensive plays.

2006 (Fr.): Despite being listed as an offensive lineman, he saw action as a blocking tight end, including starting at that position at Boise State... Did not record any statistics on the year.

2005 (RS): Redshirted his first year at USU.

High School: A two-time first-team all-league selection on the offensive line... Played tight end and offensive tackle in his prep career... Also played basketball and earned all-league honors as a junior.

Personal: Born April 29, 1987 in Grass Valley, Calif... Son of Francis and Louise McFadden... Has one sister... Majoring in secondary education and would like to become a teacher... Main hobbies are playing basketball, spending time with friends and playing video games... From same hometown and high school as USU teammates S James Brindley and P/PK Chris Ulinski.
