His 44.8 average was a school record... Shared the teamís special teams MVP award with Dane Kidman... Had at least one 50-yard punt in all 11 games during the season, including three 60-plus yard punts... Dropped 13 of his 50 punts inside the 20-yard line.
2000 (So.): Had another outstanding season finishing second in the Big West and 29th in the NCAA in punting with a 41.4 average... Dropped 18 of his 64 punts inside the 20-yard line and recorded at least one 50-yard punt in eight-of-11 games... Was a second-team all-Big West selection... Earned Big West player of the week honors against Idaho... Also saw time at wide receiver and caught one pass for six yards... Was one-of-three passing for 19 yards as well.
1999 (Fr.): Earned Freshman All-America honors from The Sporting News as a punter... Was 29th in the NCAA in punting average at 42.3 per game... Had a long of 70 yards and dropped nine inside the 20 on the year... Had at least one 50-yarder in eight games... Offensively he completed one-of-two passes for eight yards... Rushed one time for 34 yards.
1998 (RS): Redshirted his first year at Utah State.
High School: An all-region and honorable mention all-state selection as a senior... Was also an honorable mention all-state pick as a junior... Set school records for career yardage (more than 3,000) and touchdown passes (24)... Was a three-year starter at quarterback and also handled punting chores... Played forward on the teamís 1997 state championship basketball team... Ran track as a sophomore and played baseball as a freshman.
