Quickly: Adjusted well to change from linebacker to defensive end in fall of 2009 and showed continued progress throughout season and spring... Provides veteran experience, leadership, speed and talent to defensive line corps and defensive unit.

2010 (Jr.): Started all 12 games at defensive end, finishing the season with 43 tackles (21 solo, 22 assists), 2.5 sacks and five tackles for loss... Also intercepted one pass to go along with two pass break-ups... Recorded a season-high 11 tackles (three solo, eight assists) to go along with one sack against New Mexico State... Added seven stops in Fresno State game... Had at least three tackles in seven games.

2009 (So.): Played in all 12 games, starting 10... Registered 28 total tackles (16 solo, 12 assists) with two tackles for loss... Added two QB hurries... Logged career-high eight tackles in New Mexico State game, while posting three stops each in Utah and Louisiana Tech games.

2008 (Fr.): Played in all 12 games at both linebacker and special teams... Made 15 tackles (five solo, 10 assists)... Top tackle outing was New Mexico State game with four stops, while adding three in Utah game.

High School: Posted 125 tackles (58 solo, 67 assists) as a senior, including 20 tackles for loss with two sacks as well as one INT in helping lead team to the small school division championship... Also played tight end, making 16 catches for 300 yards with two TD's... Named the SCCAL Defensive Player of the Year as well as SC County Defensive Player of the Year... A second-team Cal-Hi Sports all-state selection... As a junior, he earned SCCAL Junior of the Year accolades as well as SC County all-defensive team honors... Also lettered in basketball, baseball and track & field.

Personal: Born July 26, 1990 in Santa Cruz, Calif... Son of Duane and Irene Garner... Has one brother and one sister... Majoring in exercise science.
