Quickly: Switched to cornerback from wide receiver in spring of 2010 and showed continued progress in each game during last season and throughout spring drills... Provides athleticism, speed and talent to defensive backfield.

2010 (Fr.): Saw action in 11 games, making four starts... Recorded 28 tackles (22 solo, six assists) to go along with three pass break-ups... Made a season-high six tackles versus Louisiana Tech, one of four games with at least four stops.

2009 (RS): Redshirted his first season at USU.

High School: A three-year letterwinner at Millwood HS... Was named the all-city offensive Player of the Year as a senior, as well as the team MVP for both offense and defense, playing both wide receiver and cornerback, along with some quarterback... Had 1,076 yards receiving with 16 TD's in addition to 202 yards rushing with four TD's... Defensively, tallied 41 tackles with 13 pass break-ups and three interceptions... Guided Falcons to the state 3A championship his junior season... Also a three-year letterwinner in basketball, helping MHS to district title as a junior after the Falcons won the state championship his freshman and sophomore seasons... Also a four-year letterwinner in track & field, earned second-place in the 400-meter and running legs on state champion 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams... Helped Millwood to back-to-back state championships as a sophomore and junior... High school teammates with Aggie freshman Brandon Swindall.

Personal: Born Sept. 17, 1990 in Oklahoma City, Okla... Son of Chuck and Camille Sanders... Has three brothers... Majoring in sociology and interdisciplinary studies... Has career plans of running his own business some day... Chose USU because of the campus and community environment, the coaching staff, facilities, academic attention as well as the program moving in a positive direction.
