2012 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-region and honorable mention all-state honors as a prep senior at Juan Diego (Utah) High School during the 2011 season... Finished the year with 84 tackles, including nine for loss... Also had three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown... Helped Juan Diego HS to three-straight state championships... Was also a member of the track & field team and competed in the 100m, 200m and 400m... An honor roll member all four years of high school... Was an ACT national award recipient for scoring in the top 10 percent in the nation in the math section and composite scoring.
