Countdown To Kickoff - 24 Days: Utah State Adds Shoulder Pads To Third Practice of Fall Camp; Coach Andersen Reiterates Importance of In-State Recruiting
Andersen reiterated the importance of in-state recruiting for Utah State and announced that the team's current 104-player roster included 10 Cache Valley student-athletes and 51 in-state players.

2013 (SR): Played in 13 games and made nine starts during the season... Graded out above 80 percent in effort in nine games and in assignment in six games... Recorded 43 knockdowns, including a season-high seven against Colorado State (11/23).
2012 (JR): Played 62 snaps in six games... Graded out at 100 percent in assignment against both Colorado State (9/22) and New Mexico State (10/20)... Had an overall performance grade of 84 percent against NMSU as he recorded a season-best three knockdowns... Played a season-high 24 snaps at UTSA (10/27) and added another knockdown... Did not allow a sack during the season.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned honorable mention all-league honors as a sophomore at Snow College in 2010 as the Badgers won the Top of the Mountains Bowl... Had 41 tackles to go along with three tackles for loss and three sacks... As a freshman at Snow College in 2009, had 12 solo tackles and 12 assisted tackles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned second-team all-region honors as an offensive lineman as a prep senior at Hunter (Utah) High School.
