Utah State Football Completes Second Spring Scrimmage Friday

In all, USU's offense scored three touchdowns and converted three field goals, while the Aggie defense recorded two interceptions and turned USU's offense away without any points on a red-zone scenario that started at the 12-yard line.

2009 (RS): Redshirted his first season at USU.

High School: Booted the game-winning extra point with 23 seconds left to lead the 3A over the 2A/1A all-stars in the annual All-Star game, in addition to drilling two field goals, including a 47-yarder... Was 53-of-55 on extra points and 4-of-7 on field goals, with a long of 53 yards as a senior... Was also the Grizzlies' leading receiver with 45 catches for 699 yards and six TD's... Also a four-year letterwinner in wrestling and a three-year letterwinner in baseball.

Personal: Born Sept. 24, 1990 in Logan, Utah... Son of Brian and Christi Thompson... Has one brother and one sister... Major is currently undeclared but will most likely go into accounting with a minor in Spanish... Has career plans to be an accountant in a large firm... Hobbies include playing frisbee golf and being outdoors with family and friends...
