HONORS: College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention National Tight End of the Week (9/14/13).

2013 (SR): Played in the first six games of the season, including four starts, before missing the remainder of the year with an injury... Finished the year with 17 receptions for 93 yards (5.5 ypr) with three touchdowns... Ranked tied for third on the team in touchdowns and sixth in receptions... Caught a career-high four passes against BYU and had a career-best two touchdown receptions of five and eight yards against Weber State as he was named an honorable mention National Tight End of the Week by College Football Performance Awards... Also had a 3-yard touchdown reception at San José State.

2012 (JR): Played in 12 games, starting seven... Finished the year with six receptions for 31 yards (5.2 ypr), including his second career touchdown on a 10-yard catch against UNLV (9/29)... Had a career-high three receptions at Louisiana Tech (11/17)... Caught one pass for eight yards versus Texas State (11/3)... Also had two tackles during the year... Garnered all-state 5A honors as a senior, as well as being named the Region 3 defensive line MVP as a junior... Also a three-time all-region selection... Was team captain as a junior and senior... Defensively, tallied 48 tackles, including 18 for loss with six sacks, as well as one interception return for a touchdown and two forced fumbles... Offensively, had 35 catches for 458 yards with five touchdowns as a senior... Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2013 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in business management and physical education administration, and is currently pursuing his master's degree in education with an emphasis in physical and sport education...
