Andersen reiterated the importance of in-state recruiting for Utah State and announced that the team's current 104-player roster included 10 Cache Valley student-athletes and 51 in-state players.

2012 (JR): Carried the ball two times for nine yards with a long run of six yards against Southern Utah (8/30) in his only action of the season.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played in just one game at Dean (Mass.) Junior College as a sophomore in 2011 before suffering a season-ending injury... Played at Valley Forge (Pa.) Community College during his freshman season, rushing for more than 1,000 yards, earning first-team all-conference honors, helping the team to an undefeated season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year letterwinner at Framingham (Mass.) High School, rushing for 1,204 yards on 144 carries (8.3 ypc) with 11 touchdowns as a senior in leading the Flyers to the state title... Earned first-team all-Bay State Conference honors and played in the Shrine All-Star Game.
