Utah State Football Concludes Fourth Week of Spring Practice With Both Sides of the Ball Making Plays In Controlled Scrimmage
Offensive highlights for Utah State included senior running back Joey DeMartino who had eight carries for 47 yards with three touchdowns.
Along with handing out individual awards, a highlight video recapping the year was shown, as was a video honoring USU's senior class, which tied the 1962 senior class for the most wins in school history with 26.
Of its 52 academic all-WAC selections, Utah State had 18 student-athletes from football honored, along with 11 student-athletes from soccer, eight from both women's cross country and volleyball, and seven from men's cross country.

HONORS: Academic All-WAC (2010, 2011, 2012).
2012 (JR): Played in all 13 games, starting eight... Caught 25 passes for 244 yards (9.8 ypr), including his first career touchdown on a seven yard pass against Texas State (11/3)... Caught at least one pass in every game except at Wisconsin (9/15)... Had a season-high three receptions against Southern Utah (8/30), Utah (9/7) and Louisiana Tech (11/7)... Had a season-high 35 receiving yards against the Utes and 34 receiving yards against the Bulldogs... Also returned four kickoffs for 69 yards (17.2 ypr), including career-highs with two returns for 45 yards, including a long of 32 yards, at San Jose State (10/13).
2011 (SO): Played in 10 games, starting one contest... Caught three passes for 23 yards... Had two receptions in Auburn (9/3) game for six yards and grabbed a season-long catch of 17 yards against San Jose State (11/12).
2010 (FR): Played in seven games and made one start... Caught nine passes for 77 yards, while also carrying the ball two times for nine yards... Also made one tackle... Had a season-best five receptions for 34 yards in the team's home-opener against Idaho State (9/11).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-Broward County honors after leading Class 6A-5A-4A in receiving with 48 receptions... Averaged 11.4 yards per catch to finish with 545 yards and five touchdowns on the season, helping the Cobras to the second round of the state playoffs... Guided Boyd Anderson (Fla.) High School to three-straight District 10 6A championships... Amassed career totals of 107 receptions for 1,230 yards with 13 touchdowns... Named the wide receiver MVP of the University of Miami camp in 2008.
