The only other offensive linemen to be as highly recognized in school history are Dave Manning and Jim Hough who were both named second-team All-Americans by the Associated Press in 1973 and 1977, respectively... Was also one of six finalists for the Rimington Trophy, which is presented annually to the most outstanding center in college football, and became just the ninth player in school history to be a three-time first-team all-conference selection... Led the team with an overall performance grade of 91 percent, including 83 percent in technique and 90 percent in effort... Carried out the right assignment 98 percent of the time, including seven games where he graded out at a perfect 100 percent... Graded out above 90 percent six times in total performance and above 84 percent 11 times in effort and above 80 percent 10 times in technique... Posted 50.0 knockdowns... 2012 (JR): Started all 13 games... Earned first-team all-WAC honors for the second-straight year becoming the first two-time first-team all-conference selection at Utah State since Kevin Robinson (2004, 2007) and the first offensive lineman to accomplish the feat since Mauricio Jourdan (1996-97)... Tied for the team lead along with senior Eric Schultz with an 86 percent overall performance grade, including 78 percent in technique and 83 percent in effort... Carried out the right assignment 97 percent of the time, including four games where he graded out at a perfect 100 percent... Graded out above 90 percent two times in total performance and above 80 percent 12 times in effort and seven times in technique... Posted 65.5 knockdowns.

2011 (SO): Started all 13 games... Earned first-team all-WAC honors... Led the team with an 89 percent overall performance grade, including 80 percent in technique and 88 percent in effort... Carried out the right assignment 98 percent of the time, including five games where he graded out at a perfect 100 percent... Graded out above 90 percent six times in total performance, five times in effort and two times in technique, as well as all 13 games in assignment... Posted 65.5 knockdowns including a season-high 8.0 at defending national champion Auburn (9/3)... Earned academic all-WAC honors.

2010 (RS-FR): Started all 12 games at center... Made all the blocking calls for the USU offense.

2009 (RS): Played in first two games before suffering knee injury in second game and was awarded a medical redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Jordan (Utah) High School, playing both offensive and defensive line... Earned first-team all-state and second-team all-region honors... Tallied 27 tackles, including six sacks as well as six fumble recoveries with four going for touchdowns as a senior... Helped the Beetdiggers to the state playoffs all four seasons, finishing career with 96 tackles, 16 sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, including four touchdowns... Also lettered in basketball as a junior, helping Jordan HS to playoffs.

PERSONAL: Son of LeRoy and Barbara Larsen... Has three brothers and two sisters... Brother, Cody, played defensive tackle at Southern Utah and with the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL... Married USU softball player Samantha Miller in May, 2013... Graduated from Utah State in December of 2013 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in health and wellness.
