Utah State Football Starts Fall Camp Friday, Aug. 5

Fourth-year head coach Matt Wells welcomes back 12 starters (O-9, D-3) and 38 letterwinners (O-20, D-15, S-3) from last year's team that finished tied for second in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West with a 5-3 record, and played in its school-record fifth-straight bowl game.

HONORS: Honorable Mention All-Mountain West (2015).

2015 (SO): Started nine games and played in 10 at left guard and earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors... Had an overall performance grade of 73 percent for the season, which included one game at 80 percent... Recorded 37 knockdowns, including a season-high seven against Nevada (11/21), and five against both New Mexico (11/7) and Air Force (11/14)... Best game of the season was against then-No. 21 Boise State (10/16) as he graded out at 80 percent and recorded three knockdowns... Did not allow a single sack all season and only had one missed assignment.

2014 (RS-FR): Started 11 games and played in all 14 at left guard... Had an overall performance grade of 81 percent for the season... Graded out at 81 percent in effort, including nine games over 80 percent... Also graded out at 87 percent in assignment, including six games over 90 percent... Finished the season with 40.0 knockdowns, including a season-high six against both No. 18 BYU (10/3) and New Mexico (11/15)... Best overall game of the season was at Colorado State (10/18) as he graded out at 86 percent, which included 96 percent in assignment, 87 percent in effort and 74 percent in technique.

2013 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Utah Class 5A first-team all-state honors as a prep senior at Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah as he helped the Beetdiggers to a 12-1 record and a 5A state championship, beating Syracuse HS in the title game... Was part of an offensive line that helped average 44.1 points, 281.7 passing yards and 215.6 rushing yards per game... Was named MaxPreps Offensive Player of the Game four times during the 2012 season... Averaged 14.0 pancakes a game... Played basketball at Jordan HS as a freshman and sophomore and threw the shot put during his sophomore year as well.

PERSONAL: One of four children of James and Shay Mosley... Father played linebacker at Dixie State... Majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
